Every Monday at Aera, American Improv, Austria’s first English-language improvisational theater school, stages two fully improvised comedy shows in English. Shows include „American Improv’s Not Harry Potter”, the smash-hit unauthorized improvised parody of the Wizarding World, “American Improv’s Cage Match”, “American Improv’s Netflix and Chill”, the unauthorized improvised parody binge, “American Improv’s Sisi (auf Deutsch)” and many more hilarious formats. Everything that happens on stage is inspired by your suggestions, has never been seen before, and will never be seen again. Get ready to laugh out loud!
Before the shows, avid fans get a chance to play together with American Improv teachers and students at the American Improv Playground. It’s the perfect place to take a shot at improvising for the very first time. Improvise together with our teachers and students in a safe space full of supportive people, or sit in the audience and watch others play. It’s a great place to meet new people and make friends. No experience required – all are welcome! Playground ticket holders may stay and watch both American Improv shows taking place on the same night as the Playground free of charge. That’s three hours of fun for the price of one!
